The Academy
From the 1st to the 6th September 2026
For its 3rd edition Academy, Le Concert Idéal is offering the opportunity to 5 young European artists, 1 violinist, 2 violists and 2 cellists, to meet for 3 days of residency and 3 days of public concerts by Marianne Piketty’s side in the Loire Valley.
Programme:
Johannes Brahms String Sextet No. 1 in B flat major, Op. 18
Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky Souvenir de Florence, Op. 70
Conditions:
Aged under 27, currently studying in or graduated from a superior European school.
Send a CV and a YouTube link of a 15-minute video with 2 chosen extracts of contrasted periods before 25TH MAY 2026. Results given before 15th June.
Teaching, accomodation, meal and transport expenses will be taken entirely in charge by the Academy. In addition, each academician will be paid 540€ gross for the 3 concerts.
